While on the subject of posts and erection, I would like to apologise for my last erected post. I was most immature to keep on about an erection, especially in a post – for the last thing needed in biblioblogdom is anything about erectile posts. I will try to keep my post erection free from now on ...

I am New Testament Tutor for St Mellitus College and St Paul's Theological Centre, London. In my postgraduate research (under the supervision of Max Turner) I’m working on a thesis that concerns the christological significance of the language Paul used to describe the relationship between risen Lord and believer. There's something to be said for remaining limp and flaccid vis a vis one's post(s) and thus maintaining a certain level of approachability. I think you were wise to apologize. It takes a big man to admit the errors of his post.
Right, with a post in hand like the previous, it is difficult to remain limp. But the post in my hand tonight was a sincere apology for such erection nonsense
