About Me
I am New Testament Tutor for St Mellitus College and St Paul's Theological Centre, London. In my postgraduate research (under the supervision of Max Turner) I’m working on a thesis that concerns the christological significance of the language Paul used to describe the relationship between risen Lord and believer. My blog, Chrisendom, is primarily occupied with biblical and theological themes – especially those Apostle Paul shaped, but I try as best as I can to squeeze in a decent amount of inappropriate baloney on the way. For more about me, click here for my interview with biblioblogs' Jim West.

I would say, "nice photo" but that picture quality is just awful. I really feel for NTW b/c his only picture with Chris Tilling was done on an old camera phone.
Yea, poor chap. I bet he wished I had a proper camera.
what? that's not what the both of you actually look like- all covered with fuzziness??? i'm aghast
Obviously photshopped. That explains the poor photo quality.
Chris Tilling is in jail on multiple heinous charges. If he were out of jail, he'd have brought a proper camera or even hired a professional photographer to preserve the momentous meeting forever.
And has he washed his hands lately? Surely Tilling wouldn't wash the hand that shook hands with The Wrighteous One.

Shouldn't this have been under the previous post, 'On Being Persecuted'?
Is that a CIA profile photo shot from a security camera at a train station? Looks like something out of Bourne identity.
You guys must be running from a rogue MI5 or CIA guy who is now working for the Reformed mafia.
Too bad the greatest moment of the good Bishop's life was ruined by a shoddy camera. Or did you distort the image purposely to ruin your looks so as not to embarrass the Bishop? LoL, I love your blog.
Whoo-hoo! I'm sure the good bishop was honored - or should that be honoured?
My word verification is "systa". I'm your systa from the US.
Wow! I'm sure that NTW has been looking forward to this his whole life, I imagine ever since you read Jesus and the Victory of God.
I know it's a fake because . . .
1) you're not sobbing uncontrollably
2) he hasn't called security on you
Yowsers, it looks like you fished that camera out of a lake before that picture was snapped.
I'm sure I can just see the end of a revolver pointing at NTW's back forcing him to stand still and smile.
A few years ago I was chatting with Wright (in Toronto) about exile and the status of the contemporary Church in much of the West. I didn't bother taking any pictures, but I think he posted some on his blog.
wright has a blog? i think that's probably news to all of us. what's the url?
I'm sure this was a real "Dear Diary" moment for him.
Jim,
If you don't know the url for Wright's blog, it just shows that you are not in his inner circle (it's a closely guarded secret!).
These police photofit pictures are getting better, but still can hardly be described as life-like.
dan- you must be right. i'm sure im not in his inner circle (known to the rest of us as the third circle of hell).
;-)
