UnSpun

I'm not sure what this UnSpun thing is about, but there appears to be a league being generated of the 'best blogs about biblical studies'. At the moment Chrisendom is #2 (though I'm not sure of the significance of this), with Jim West's blog lagging hopelessly behind in position #3 (I am sure about the significance of this :-)).

Well you smarmy tart... Wait, I think the phone's ringing. Hold on.

Ok I'm back, it was an Eerdman's rep calling for your home #, which I was happy to pass along to him.

When I looked Jim had raced ahead to no. 2 at 1084 to your embarrasing 1000 at no. 3.

Now its Chris at no. 2 with 1971 and clever clogs Dr Jim lagging behind at no. 3 with 1000.

You're not spending all your time voting for yourself now are you, Chris?

This race is more exciting than watching the hedges grow at the Grand National.

It is the Wrath of God coming down upon Jim's head. No doubt for all his blasphemies.
For who can call an Angelic Cherub like Chris the Devil and not suffer God's retribution?

For it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.

Chrisendom (1971)

Dr Jim West (1000)

John

Well, I think that watching you two slug it out for 2-3 is exciting. But what is really strange over on the Top Theology Blogs list is that (a), I was listed at all, (b) I started out in the top 50, and (c) I have moved up to # 13! Surely someone is kidding. My little blog doesn't even belong in the same league--it didn't even start out as a theology blog! But, once the myriad critics who visit me daily to tell me I am lost and need to find Jesus discover this, I am sure they will vote me back to obscurity and vote someone like Al Mohler up to my current spot!

I'm languishing just behind you at 35 in the Theology blogs chart. That David (I'm gonna be the biggest blog on the planet) Sky is nowhere to be seen.
