prosperity: Jesus wants you to own lots and lots of really nice shit! pentecostal: Just gimme that old time shit. left behindism: God's yanking me out before the real shit happens. fundamentalism: The absolute shit. etc...
Um....yeah. But I was hoping to get CT's special life experience involved (I don't know many bloggers besides him and me who actually have that sort of powerful "Holy Ghost" lineage to tap into, and he does it so much better than I do).
Count me among the former Holy Rollers. I was a Foursquare pastor for a number of years and as a Vineyard pastor (currently) I do have a foot in that world still. But I agree CT has a way with words. ;-)
I am New Testament Tutor for St Mellitus College and St Paul's Theological Centre, London. In my postgraduate research (under the supervision of Max Turner) I’m working on a thesis that concerns the christological significance of the language Paul used to describe the relationship between risen Lord and believer. My blog, Chrisendom, is primarily occupied with biblical and theological themes – especially those Apostle Paul shaped, but I try as best as I can to squeeze in a decent amount of inappropriate baloney on the way. For more about me, click here for my interview with biblioblogs' Jim West.

I'm troubled about the lack of pentecostal-charismatic and prosperity theology references. CT, can you add some for us?
I'll get you started:
Pent-Charism: "Just open your mouth and let the _______ flow from it...it'll sound like babbling, that's okay."
JB you mean like this?
prosperity: Jesus wants you to own lots and lots of really nice shit!
pentecostal: Just gimme that old time shit.
left behindism: God's yanking me out before the real shit happens.
fundamentalism: The absolute shit.
etc...
