I will nibble as well. I loved the way he battled back into the line-up at Chelsea, when it would have been easier to go back to WestHam or Charlton or some such. He's the most dangerous little lion cub on the pitch for England at present. Fun to watch--hopefully Rooney starts to get on track as well.

Precisely why can't England play more than 30 straight minutes of good football? I fail to understand this.

Sven is an absolute fool for not blooding Walcott. You basically have two strikers fully fit, one who has never played a major game. Could have come on for 10 minutes...gotten a taste, make him a little less nervous for Ecuador and the like...and didn't. That's a dang shame.

I also take back everything kind I've said about Becks. Worthless. Get Lennon on the pitch from the get-go (although playing them both and moving Beckham deeper was a very, very goodm move).

Um...no, no corrections needed. As you can see from http://gospelofmatthew.blogspot.com/2006/06/ich-liebe-german-advice-on-language.html, I'm not interested (at present) in composition or anything other than reading/interp. That was by far the most German I've ever written.

But now that I think of it, go ahead, tear me a new einem.
